Down Syndrome

Our youngest daughter, Nichole, was born with Trisomy 21, known as Down syndrome. As incredibly hard as it was to deal with her diagnosis, she has become "My Teacher of Life." There is nothing we would change about this little girl! It is because of her that we adopted our middle daughter, who has Cerebral Palsy.

I recently wrote a series of 24 posts about our journey to Down syndrome. I would love for you to take some time and share along in the journey. The first post is: Road Marker 321

You can also follow the labels: Down syndrome or Nichole

You will find the list of labels on the right hand side of this blog. There are some other labels that you might find helpful, like speech, special needs, therapy, or IEP among many others.

I kept a blog with some information on Down syndrome. I no longer update that blog, but there are some videos and posts that might be helpful. you can click here to go to the Down syndrome blog.

This is a journey I would have never chosen willingly, yet now that I travel down this path, I would not change it for anything in the world. it is a journey of love. So much love!
